The transition from the end of the backswing into the downswing causes many of the regular golfer absolute fits.

They lose their swing plane. They lose their spine angle. They lose their body position that can help them strike the ball consistently.

As Ben Hogan once perfectly stated. "The ultimate judge of a good golf swing is the flight of the ball"

Whilst slow motion swings can be great to look at, what the viewer tends to miss is the dynamic movement that is occurring throughout the swing.

To the untrained eye it would seem that slow motion video would be more beneficial to see how the swing is functioning. That however is not really the case.

Talking about swing plane is one of my favourite topics & more often than not it brings about much discussion and a lot of head scratching,

ultimately with a nod of the head in disbelief and a new confirmation I am right when I explain the plane is NOT what most people think or have been told.
