When making a change to your swing you must be very careful to understand what other effect that change will have in some other area of the swing. Getting better wont generally happen in one foul swoop. There is always a need to add add and then subtract something from your focus to get the end result.

Ultimately your goal as a golfer is to not be perfect- that is practically impossible- but to know why a bad shot arises and have an understanding of how to fix the issue swiftly when out on the course.

Being able to solve your own swing is the plan to my coaching. Learning to see what areas need work on will point you back to the drill you need to pay attention to solve the issue quickly. Rather than trying so many things you end up down the rabbit hole. There is a plan that works. Stick to it.
