Right Foot- Down OR Up?

Balance in the golf swing is one of the major factors that will accommodate the golfer in his quest for a better motion.

It is hard to believe how many times I have heard or read that to use the ground correctly the right foot should remain

down when striking the ball. This is a myth. And a myth that is very easy to refute.

How the right foot operates is based on a number of things- which I will go into more detail about in future posts.

Yet for this conversation the right foot should react to how much lateral movement the body is undertaking within

the swing at hand. And this can and will vary with different clubs.
